Familiar Faces
Many of our team members are familiar faces who worked alongside Dr. Brooks and are proud to continue his legacy of compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Ryan Tomlins brings a unique and compassionate approach to patient care, grounded in his extensive background in orthopedics, functional medicine, and sports medicine. With over a decade of experience in non-surgical orthopedics, Dr. Tomlins transitioned from corporate healthcare to open Summit Health — a practice dedicated to helping patients uncover the root cause of their symptoms and achieve long-term wellness through personalized care.
His medical journey began in South Carolina, where he completed a residency in family medicine, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the renowned Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Alabama.
Now stepping in as CEO of Thrive MD, Dr. Tomlins is committed to honoring the legacy of Dr. Brooks by continuing a whole-person, relationship-based approach to medicine. From injury recovery to proactive health optimization, his passion lies in helping patients of all ages feel and function at their best.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Tomlins enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with his three children — his greatest motivation and biggest “why” in life.
