Many of our team members are familiar faces, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that our community knows and trusts.
Dr. Ryan Tomlins brings a unique and compassionate approach to patient care, grounded in his extensive background in orthopedics, functional medicine, and sports medicine. With over a decade of experience in non-surgical orthopedics, Dr. Tomlins transitioned from corporate healthcare to open Summit Health — a practice dedicated to helping patients uncover the root cause of their symptoms and achieve long-term wellness through personalized care.
His medical journey began in South Carolina, where he completed a residency in family medicine, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the renowned Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Alabama.
Now stepping in as CEO of Thrive MD, Dr. Tomlins is committed to a whole-person, relationship-based approach to medicine. From injury recovery to proactive health optimization, his passion lies in helping patients of all ages feel and function at their best.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Tomlins enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with his three children — his greatest motivation and biggest “why” in life.

Curtis Beall DNP, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner with a background in functional/integrative medicine. He takes an integrative approach, combining evidence-based treatments, supplementation, and medications when necessary to help patients get to the root cause of their health.
Curtis received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Pittsburg State University and began his career gaining hands-on experience in family medicine. It was during this time that his interest and focus shifted to a more integrative approach to healthcare.
Curtis has since completed additional training through IFM and A4M, two of the leading institutions in functional medicine.
Outside of medicine, Curtis enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fitness, and golf. He is an avid Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas City Royals fan.

Jacqueline Pederson - Family nurse practitioner
Jacqueline (Jackie) Pederson, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience caring for patients in a variety of settings. She brings a strong clinical background and a passion for helping patients achieve better health through attentive, whole-person care.
Jackie began her nursing journey at Washburn University before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her professional background includes years of experience as an ER and trauma nurse in Kansas City, where she gained invaluable skills in urgent and complex care. Today, she combines that expertise with a patient-centered approach that emphasizes education, prevention, and compassionate care.
Outside of her work, Jackie is married and the proud mother of four children. She is active in her local church community and enjoys spending time on the golf course in her free time.
Ryan Fulks, RN, is an experienced emergency department nurse with a strong background in behavioral health and acute crisis care. He has worked in high-intensity emergency settings for several years, providing compassionate support to patients experiencing both physical and mental health emergencies.
Certified in BLS, ACLS, and as a Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) instructor, Ryan is known for his ability to create a calm, safe environment even in highly stressful situations. He is a Daisy Award recipient and has been recognized multiple times for excellence in patient care.

Abigail (Abi) Hager, MS, MMS, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Animal Sciences at Kansas State University (K-State). She then received a Master of Science at K-State in Biology with a dual research emphasis in college science education and animal science research. Following this, she decided to pursue a Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate studies at University of Missouri-Kansas City. Abi has worked as a PA in internal medicine, urgent care, and emergency medicine since graduating in 2022. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals, exercising, riding horses, working on the farm, and all things outdoors.

Megan is a board-certified clinical nutritionist. She graduated summa cum laude from Logan University with her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance. She has 13 years of experience both in nutrition counseling and as a college professor of nutritional sciences.
She specializes in the practice of evidence-based nutrition through the application of biochemical nutrient analysis, nutrigenetics, phytotherapy, herbology, and other forms of integrative nutrition. She is knowledgeable and experienced in supporting the restoration of gastrointestinal health, vagus nerve balance, cardiovascular health, immune function, hormone homeostasis, detoxification, and mental health. She counts it a privilege to have helped many people from all walks of life during her career thus far. Megan strongly believes in the medicinal power of personalized nutrition to promote healing and greater vitality.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four young children. She loves trail running with her dog, gardening, playing piano, cooking, or playing a game of backyard soccer with her family.

Caroline has worked in the medical field since high school. She earned a degree in graphic design, but after school decided to return to healthcare, where she has spent the past 12 years making a difference for patients. Caroline enjoys gardening, summertime, movies, and playing with her corgi, Pete.

Missy Stuart studied early childhood development but has spent most of her career working in medical office administration. She is married to Ron, and they have three children. In her free time, she loves supporting the Chiefs and spending time outdoors with her kids and dogs.
